Regulation of Petrochemicals Market

• Determining the base price of petrochemical products and submitting a report to the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) and the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration
• Determining the supply floor of petrochemicals on IME in order to maintain market stability and provide feedstock for downstream petrochemical production companies and monitor and follow up on the correctness of its implementation and correspondence with judicial authorities and offending corporations.
• Coordination with petrochemical companies during overhauls and production stoppages in order to meet market needs
• Monitoring the distribution of petrochemicals and supplying domestic needs in addition to verifying the correctness of the distribution process
• Market analysis of petrochemicals and materials produced in the downstream market
• Notifying downstream petrochemical industries of stoppage of petrochemical companies for overhaul
• Determining the specifications of petrochemical products in order to supply new grades on IME, as well as identifying the grades required by the downstream industry market and the global market, and providing proposals to petrochemical complexes
• Responsibility of the secretariat of the Petrochemical Committee
